Why Does Roku Remote Drain Batteries. There is an audio amplifier in the remote to drive the headphones. It is most annoying and I hope Roku heeds our complaints and fixes whatever it is that creates the problem.
I use the Roku stick with a projector. A roku tv is more complicated because its managing all those HDMI ports as well as the built-in roku system and so those devices are by extension part of the roku os and if you leave them on the remote is in high-power mode and the battery will drain in no time.
